Bongo-news: An eminent educationist Professor Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir is working as the Vice Chancellor (Acting), Primeasia University. On September 27, 2020 he was joined as the Pro Vice Chancellor (D) of Primeasia University.
Prior to joining at Primeasia University, he was the Pro Vice Chancellor (D) at Northern University Bangladesh. He was also the former Vice Chancellor (D) at IBAIS University, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. In addition, he is also a National Trainer for ITC and WTO, Geneva. He has served as a Director at NITER, Savar, Dhaka. He has also served as a Professor and head, department of  Textile Engineering  at World University of  Bangladesh.
Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of teaching, research ,  administration, government sector and different industries both in Bangladesh and abroad. He has 16 publications and conference proceedings and more than 12 of his articles have been published at the National Daily Newspapers. Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir is the Life Member of ITET (Institute of Textile Engineers and Technologies, Bangladesh) and also a Life Fellow Member of IEB (Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh).
He completed his S.S.C. from Nilphamari and H.S.C. from Carmichael College, Rangpur. He completed his B.Sc. in Textile Technology from Dhaka University and obtained first class second position in the merit list. In 2001, Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir obtained M.Sc. in Textile and clothing Technology from Technical University, Dresden, Germany in 2005. Doctor’s degree was awarded to him by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Technical University, Dresden Germany.
